JOB OVERVIEW
What is the purpose of the job?
To ensure that standards of cleanliness are kept high.
What do you have to achieve?
- High standards of cleanliness.
- Compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Sound knowledge of COSHH
KEY TASKS
Daily
- Clean all bathrooms – children's and staff
- Hoover all carpet areas throughout nursery
- Sweep and mop all hard floors
- Clean all sinks and surrounding areas
- Empty all general waste bins
- Replenish soap and hand towel dispensers
Weekly
- Damp clean all skirting boards
- Clean all glass panels on doors
- Clean all door handles
- Damp clean all windowsills
Monthly
- High dust throughout nursery
- Deep clean of baby room carpet
- Deep clean of all carpets as set out by the nursery
